

Oh yes, totally. Because religion is always the EXACT SAME for everybody. You can’t just tell someone “if you are -this religion- you need to act like -this religion-” because religion is an EXTREMELY PERSONAL thing. You can’t go around insulting someone’s religious practices or lack thereof just because you think they need to “act more -this religion-“.
Anon, do you have a religion? If you do, would you want me to go up and ask you “are you SUREEE you’re part of that religion? You don’t ACT like it”. If you don’t have a religion, would you like it if I went up to you and said “Huh, you DON’T have a religion? Well you should ACT like you don’t have a religion. The way you’re acting is making me think you actually do have one.”
By asking if someone is “EVEN -this religion-” you’re insulting something extremely close to their heart.
No one person practices their religion in the same way another person practices their religion and by suggesting someone needs to act a certain way in order to be an “ACTUAL” part of that religion… is very insulting.
