Tuesday is Glee fanart day…
I made another version with text, but maybe it’s a bit cheesy.
And this.
COME HERE LET ME HOLD YOU
(via fiirewalkwithme)
I’m going to try to not really get into it, because it’s just…not worth it, but okay.
Apparently we’re still having the “Dave is a rapist” discussion or something?
And just…airing that out.
Why is beyond me.
I mean, it’s summer. The show isn’t even on. There’s not really much to go on. We don’t even know if we’ll ever see Dave again. A lot of pirates are going to stop watching. So…why are we discussing this yet again right now?
Who knows, but this is just one point that…no.
But that aside, I’m sick of the over exaggerating.
What Dave did to Kurt was terrible. It did make him frightened, it made him upset, it made him feel scared and anxious. He transferred schools and it was just…awful for him and no one should have to have gone through that.
What didn’t happen to him, though, was a development of PTSD.
What didn’t happen, as far as we know, is that he became suicidal.
I am sick of these claims being made, because although I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by the same people that treat rape as a joke by saying what Dave did was rape, I still have to put my foot down.
Go meet someone who actually has PTSD. See where they’re at in life right now. See if they can hold down a job and function normally in life, even after they’ve been taken out of whatever triggering situation they’re in. See if they don’t have trouble with every day things and relationships.
While Kurt had it bad, very very bad, he did not develop nor did he ever have PTSD so please be the ever loving heck quiet with that.
Exaggerating things like that to be is disgusting. Disorders like that are not fun, they’re not temporary, and they can’t be fixed with songs, boyfriends, and apologies. They are crippling and devastating. They within themselves can drive people to commit suicide just to not have to deal with that anymore.
So for the love of god when you want to climb up on your high horse and start tearing down a fictional character, think before you speak. Because the stuff you being to insinuate and the claims you make are just as offensive as you claiming that we’re forgiving rape. It’s disgusting and it’s not tit for tat, it makes you a jerk and an idiot. Stop it.
I don’t know why this is become a topic for discussion again either. It’s just as pointless and offensive and dumb and asinine as it was two years ago when it was still semi-relevant.
I guess in someways I’m feeling a resurgence of the pirate community because heaven knows arguing this was a cool 85% of what we did and had to do in this ridiculous fandom.

Glee Meme - One Quote
“It’s not easy to break out of your comfort zone. People will tear you down, tell you you shouldn’t have bothered in the first place. But let me tell you something: there’s not much of a difference between a stadium full of cheering fans and an angry crowd screaming abuse at you. They’re both just making a lot of noise. How you take it is up to you. Convince yourself they’re cheering for you. You do that, and someday, they will.”
