You know, if Glee wants to be serious and they want to do all the important storylines, they should give a proper storyline to Unique. She could be the ultimate underdog character. We saw Kurt getting bullied and it’s one of the things Glee did best. They could really show how transphobic kids (and even adults) can be, because they just don’t understand. Glee could educate so many people with this storyline. They could show that even her parents don’t understand completely but love her and they would understand eventually and be her support. Same for the Glee kids. This is something I want to watch. Show how lonely being so different can make a person feel. Have the guts, Glee.

And you have a perfect song to use for the storyline as well. Make cover of “It Gets Better” and donate money from itunes sales to Trevor Project.

I guess what annoys me most about people thinking “Katie” is Unique is the fact that the REASON they think that is because she was able to help Ryder understand better. Like, people can have common sense on these things without being trans* themselves.
